Improved Puncture Resistance - The all new Vectran belt (developed and patented by Continental) delivers even better puncture protection for the GP4000 than the GP3000. Vectran is more flexible and lighter than other puncture resistant materials, offers more cut resistance than Aramid, and is five times stronger than steel. The GP4000 saves 5g of weight and surpasses the flexibility of the Nylon double breaker layer used in the GP3000.
New Tread Compound - The innovative Silica rubber compound on the GP4000, increases the handling threshold for safer and faster cornering while reducing rolling resistance. A new anti-cracking formula on the Grand Prix 4000 reduces the affects of UV and increases mileage.
Available in 10 different colors and 4 sizes (650x23, 700x20/23/25). Kevlar bead, folding tire.
