Product Description: Endurance Max Energy is a high carbohydrate electrolyte drinkable gel.
Professional and recreational athletes use Max Energy gel with outstanding results. Max Energy is the only concentrated carbohydrate gel, 70 maltodextrin calories per ounce, that you can drink. With electrolytes and many benefits over any other energy product, Max Energy is your best choice when you want maximum performance.
* MAXIMUM ENDURANCE, PERFORMANCE AND RECOVERY
Many active people can boost energy levels, endurance and performance by consuming more water, carbohydrates (carbs) and electrolytes during activities.
Blood sugar and body fat are both important sources of endurance fuel. Your body stores a very limited supply of carbs for blood sugar and energy. And, body fat is most easily converted to energy when blood sugar levels are not low. Even in short endurance events lasting only 60 minutes, research shows consuming carbs during the activity can improve your performance. So, consuming 1 - 1 ounce serving of Max Energy every 15 to 30 minutes of recreational activity not only provides fuel to burn, but helps you burn more fat, and shortens recovery.
At higher levels of exercise intensity most of your energy comes from blood sugar, although fat is still important. Highly competitive endurance athletes, during long hard efforts, will consume as much as 1 quart of water and 400-500 calories of carbs every hour to maintain the highest levels of performance. The athletes’ limitations are his or her fitness and ability to digest carbs. Maltodextrin is a carb most easily digested and converted to blood sugar. Max Energy carbs are 100% maltodextrin in Octane Orange, Jammin Banana and all natural Peppermint Schnopps flavors. Caffeine Cola and Stokin Strawberry have fructose sweetner added. Our professional and elite product testing athletes report consuming as much as 500 calories every hour with outstanding performances and no digestion problems.
Electrolytes are added to help you stay cool and efficiently burn carbs and fat during longer efforts.
A 10 serving bottle of Max Energy is the right amount of carbohydrates for two to four hours of activity.
So, when you want maximum energy and maximum performance, use Max Energy!
After exercise, consume 2-4 ounces of Max Energy to replenish lost glycogen. During rest, sip 1/2 ounce of Max Energy every 20 minutes to boost your energy levels.

Not quite sure what it is, Wednesday, August 29, 2007Reviewed by Jorge To me this was something in between a gel and an electrolyte drink. It did go down very smooth, more so than a gel. There are lots of flavors to choose from giving you some options, and it seemed to do its job under pressure at my last training session. If you are looking for an alternative to the gels, give this one a shot. |
