Triathlon Suits vs Triathlon Wetsuits vs Swimskins: A tri suit is a base layer one-piece that allows you to complete your entire race without wardrobe changes. It does not provide warmth or bouyancy. A wetsuit, on the other hand, is a thick rubber outer layer worn on top of a base layer that provides both bouyancy and warmth in cold water. A swimskin is similar to a wetsuit, worn outside the base layer, but focuses more on making you more hydrodynamic and does not provide warmth or as much bouyancy.
