Sports drinks have been around for many years. There are several good choices out there today, both in the ready-to-drink (RTD) and powder formats. Both delivery systems are good, but we created MOTOR TABS™ to bridge the gap between RTDs, powder and water!

MOTOR TABS relies on an optimal ratio of sodium/potassium and a unique blend of three energy sources (dextrose, sucrose, maltodextrin), providing a well-balanced array of ingredients. MOTOR TABS restores your body’s electrolyte balance and provides a solid energy profile to help you stay hydrated and maintain peak performance throughout your training, racing or exercise sessions.

Each tablet delivers 250 mg of sodium, 75 mg of potassium 16 grams of carbohydrate and 65 calories. You can decide how many tablets you need per bottle based on your individual fluid requirements. I don't do too well with a lot of sugar so motor tabs are a nice alternative. I like the flavors, but they aren't nearly at tasty as gatorade or powerade. The grape is my favorite, but they are all pretty good. The real reason they're handy is if you're doing long rides where you can fill up along the way. If you're out for a century and can stop at parks along the way, you only really need 1 or 2 small water bottles and a couple of motor tabs since you can keep refilling the bottle and as well as your electrolytes. Good for camping too.

This is one tasty tablet. Plus, I love the fact that they come in tablet form, so it is easy to carry it around where ever you go and you can just drop it in a bottle without messing around with any powder. The only problem I have with it is it can dissolve slower than expected especially if you didn't mix one before hand and are dying of thirst.
