The most aggressively designed of the Hed Jet wheel series, the Jet 90 is at its best on high speed, non-technical courses. It is an ideal rear wheel, especially for races where discs are not allowed. Fitting a 90mm deep carbon fairing over a conventional alloy rim results in aerodynamics similar to a disc. Full length spokes fit through the fairing and pull directly against the aluminum rim. It is also less susceptible to sidewind deviation than a disc, making it an excellent choice for races with gusty or unpredictable winds.
The Hed Jet Deep is available in 700c and 650c sizes, with either clincher or tubular rim, and front (not advised unless you know what you are doing) or rear specification.
