The 2008 De Soto Women's 400-Mile Bike Short is a 10-panel, drawstring-elastic waist bike short with Curvilinear™ seamlines, contrast flatstitch and the New 400-Mile™ Pad is designed primarily for comfort as well incorporating feminine style. The most exciting change is that the 400-Mile™ pad floats and stretches which means it can be used as a race short in a triathlon. Swim, bike and run in it! The front and back of the short are lined for comfort and to create opacity (eliminate the possibility of transparency). The pad actually stretches with the short and follows the skin as it moves with every pedal stroke, eliminating the friction that can cause irritation or rashes. One of the great features of this short is what it does not have: no leg gripper eliminating tight binding and squeezing around the thighs creating a more comfortable and attractive short.
