Recovery ONLY!, Tuesday, August 04, 2009Reviewed by 2fast4U I've worn many different types of compression. I think that they're needs to be a couple things considered: recovery for post-work out and flexibility for during you workout. These tights definitly provide much more compression that any of the other brands I've worn (which is they're selling point); that makes them excellent for recovery. I'm an avid cyclist and wore these tights on a morning club ride and found them VERY restrictive and they actually made me more fatigued because I was having to work against this very tight fabric. If your looking for strictly recovery and compression to wear after your work out, these are perfect but I wouldn't reccommend them for anything else. Compression, I'm a believer!, Thursday, April 16, 2009Reviewed by trime When I first saw these, I thought they were glorified tights. But they are so much more than that!! I've now been running in my compression for about a month (~6 miles twice a week) and have felt soo good in them. Without compression, my legs at the end of a 6 mile run will feel weak and a little rubbery (esp with soreness in the knees), but with these I felt like I could run another 6! I'm considering racing in them for my next event. Zoot has the market cornered..., Friday, October 10, 2008Reviewed by Kyle When I first saw the Zoot CompressRx in person the first thought that went through my mind was: "wow, as soon as I start to do anything even remotely active, I'm going to overheat and de-hydrate". To look at the fabric, you'd think it was designed for wrestlers trying to produce sweat and cut weight, but in actuality the fabric breathes very comfortably. Another thing I loved about the CompressRx was the specified areas of compression. You don't have just random hot-spots, or an all over feeling of compression; just compression where you need it, over the heavily used muscles without sacrificing mobility. There is no other product in the compression marketplace that is even worth looking at, Zoot has the other companies trying to play catch up. |
