I like these "compression sock alternatives" because when I wear these I don't feel quite as dorky as wearing the long white socks. I am also going to try these in the water since I sometimes get calf cramps while I swim, which is something I won't likely do with my compression socks. It's amazing how compression just in the calf can affect your entire leg muscles and keep you from fatiguing sooner.

Less fatigue, no cramping, less recovery. I also have to say these are more comfortable that other calf sleeves I have tried. No silicone grippers that can irritate my skin.
