With most rental places I assume I'm going to get a low end cheap item that nobody wants to buy. I was delightfully surprised to find that was not the case here! I already tried out the Blue Seventy rental and was pretty happy with it but wanted to test out the Zoot Synergy for comparison. Aside from the Blue Seventy I've only swum in another entry level triathlon wetsuit from QR years ago. That suit always chafed on the neck but I found that this one was really comfortable and had no issues at all. Putting the suit on dry, it felt a bit roomy in the chest, but I don't think I'd want something too constricting in that area anyways. The size small fit me well in the length as it hit my legs right at mid calf, perfect. Cons: I think it deserves more like a 4.5 stars. I would knock half a star off for a little bit of water I felt coming in through the neck but it really wasn't too much of an issue for me. I could probably size down for a more performance fit. |
