The 2010 Louis Garneau Women’s Tiger Shark Suit complies with USAT Competitive Rules and is legal to use in all USAT sanctioned events at any water temperature. The Louis Garneau Women’s Tiger Shark Suit is fast. With a lower drag coefficient and zero buoyancy, the suit is the exact formula for speed. Yamamoto fabric, specifically designed for non-buoyant race day swimsuits, is a 3 layered fabric. The bottom layer is a hollow yarn knit which provides comfort against the skin. The middle layer is a Chloroprene Rubber which offers buoyancy, and the top SCS (Super Composite Skin Metal) layers repels water. With a water drag coefficient of only 0.032, it is lower than any other swimsuit material available. Its 0.98-1.0 specific gravity is similar to that of the water which means it has zero buoyancy.
